US producers file circumvention request over disposable containers from Malaysia

( July 2, 2026, 14:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A coalition of US aluminum foil producers filed a circumvention request with the Commerce Department, alleging that imports of disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids from Malaysia are circumventing antidumping and antisubsidy duties on subject imports from China.
