Unveiled Tuesday, the Malaysia Digital Action Plan 2030 sets out a whole-of-government roadmap covering AI, data governance, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, talent and innovation. The plan calls for operationalizing a National Data Commission, developing a National Digital Trust and Data Security Strategy and strengthening the regulatory and governance framework supporting AI deployment, while positioning the Ministry of Digital as the lead agency for implementing the government's "AI Nation 2030" agenda.Statement follows.
