Anthropic says US government lifts export controls on Fable 5, Mythos 5

The company said the June 12 export control directive followed the government's becoming aware of "a report in which Amazon researchers had found a method of bypassing Fable 5's safeguards." Anthropic said Fable 5 will be rolled out gradually. As for Mythos 5, the company said it has been cleared for release to US organizations.
