CADE recommends partial conviction of APM Terminals Itajaí in storage-fee probe
( June 26, 2026, 14:14 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Brazil’s antitrust authority recommended a partial condemnation of APM Terminals Itajaí in an administrative proceeding after finding evidence of anticompetitive conduct in container storage pricing, according to decision published in the country's Official Journal. In a June 25 report, the authority's Superintendence concluded that the operator abused a dominant position by charging storage fees for import containers, while determining that charges related to container segregation and delivery services should be dismissed.
