UK crackdown on self-harm content, cyberflashing set to intensify

Dating, messaging and social media apps will have to do more to block those offenses, the UK regulator said. The Online Safety Act’s rules on illegal harms have been updated to include a new definition of “suicide and self-harm,” and to have cyberflashing classified as a new and separate kind of illegal harm.
