MicroStar offers remedies to address Australian antitrust concerns over Konvoy deal

( June 25, 2026, 00:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Kegstar, a wholly owned subsidiary of MicroStar Logistics, has offered a package of behavioral remedies to address competition concerns raised by Australia's antitrust regulator over its proposed acquisition of certain assets of rival keg-pooling provider Konvoy. In an update published Wednesday on its website, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that, on June 17, Kegstar submitted a remedy offer to the regulator in the form of a draft section 87B undertaking under the 2010 Competition and Consumer Act. The regulator said the draft undertaking would place certain obligations on Kegstar, including not to enforce exclusivity provisions for a specified period and to offer existing Konvoy customers Kegstar contracts on prescribed terms if requested. The regulator is seeking views on the remedy offer until July 1.Update follows. Draft undertaking is attached....
