Dassault wins challenge to EU taxonomy exclusion for business aircraft
( June 24, 2026, 08:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation has won its challenge at the EU General Court against the European Commission over EU green taxonomy rules. The court annulled the exclusion of aircraft intended for private or commercial business aviation from the category of transitional activities, which covers activities that help reduce emissions where fully green alternatives aren't yet available. The court found that the commission had relied on inappropriate emissions criteria, and had failed to take into account certain relevant factors, such as the use of sustainable aviation fuels.Press release attached.
