Discovery Holiday Parks' bid for four Breeze Holiday Parks reviewed in Australia
( June 19, 2026, 08:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The proposal by Discovery Holiday Parks and Beston Parks Land Co to acquire the business, assets and real estate of four Breeze Holiday Parks locations in Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory will be reviewed by Australia’s antitrust regulator. In a statement on Friday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that Discovery operates more than 90 accommodation properties across Australia under the Discovery Parks and Discovery Resorts brands. The regulator said parties overlap in the supply of cabin accommodation, caravan sites and camping sites in parts of Northern Territory and Western Australia. The four Breeze Holiday Parks are currently operated by Katherine Park Holding, Katherine Park and Frank Davies Investments.
