Darren Perrin, who is alleged to have taken trade secrets from Roland Berger to a new job at rival Kearney, had argued that Dubai would be the proper venue for the trial over the £47 million damages claim because the majority of his work took place in the Middle East.In a rare jurisdictional case involving trade secrets, a UK national who worked for consultancy Roland Berger has failed to have his trial over allegations of giving away confidential business information heard in Dubai after the English High Court ruled he did not have enough of a connection to the United Arab Emirates to justify the move....
