EU gives up fight over SAS, Air Canada interest payments

EU judges found that the regulator had breached EU law in 2016, by repaying the fines without default interest.The European Commission has ended its fight against Air Canada and SAS, opting not to appeal a March ruling that ordered it to pay almost €19 million in interest on annulled cartel fines....
