Corteva says setting trial date in US FTC case now would be 'premature'

( June 12, 2026, 22:53 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Corteva asked a US judge to either deny the US Federal Trade Commission and states' renewed motion to set a trial date in their antitrust litigation or hold a decision on the motion until after ruling on pending summary judgment and Rule 702 motions. Setting a trial date now would be premature, Corteva said, adding that claims against it must be tried separately from the plaintiffs' claims against Syngenta. "Corteva and Syngenta are two entirely separate companies, with different loyalty programs, different products, different customers, different documents, different fact and expert witnesses, and, ultimately, different defenses," Corteva said.See attached filing....
