The Ministry of Science and ICT said Monday the companies will procure and deploy a total of 9,704 GPUs, including 2,016 next-generation Vera Rubin chips and 7,688 B300 units, to support the government’s “AI Highway” initiative and broader push to become a global AI leader. The ministry said the planned deployment would support foundation-model development, national AI projects and AI research across industry and academia.
