US importer seeks class certification in dispute over refunds

( June 4, 2026, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US importer Terry Precision Cycling LLC filed a motion at the Court of International Trade to gain class action status in an effort to mandate the federal government issue  refunds for all importers who paid tariffs under the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act. The motion comes after the Department of Justice appealed its case in a bid to deny universal relief for finally liquidated IEEPA entries.See attached....
