In a determination published on Thursday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that there was no horizontal overlap or vertical relationship between the parties in respect of the supply of goods or services in Australia. 3M and Bain Capital are proposing to form a limited liability partnership that will hold 3M’s supply of self-contained breathing apparatuses and related products and Madison Safety & Flow Holdings.
