Fruitico, Fresh Express fined in Australia for horticulture code breaches

The alleged breaches included failing to have a Code-compliant horticulture produce agreement in place and failing to provide growers with required pricing information. In a statement on Thursday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said the current code requirements do not always provide growers with clear, timely information and may enable less transparent practices.
