Amazon defends digital, product-safety rules compliance to EU lawmakers

During the European Parliament committee hearing, EU officials also talked about an updated product safety framework under the forthcoming European Product Act.Amazon has insisted to EU lawmakers that it is serious about compliance with the EU's Digital Services Act and product-safety rules, a task that set to be made harder under European Commission plans for a new legislative push to tackle unsafe products sold via online marketplaces....
