The review, conducted by the China Information Technology Security Evaluation Center and the National Secrecy Science and Technology Evaluation Center, marks the first time AI training and inference chips have been included in the assessment system. The program evaluates products and their developers on criteria including core technologies, security safeguards and long-term sustainability.
