Live Nation seeks new US trial, judgment in states' antitrust case

( May 21, 2026, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Live Nation asked a New York federal judge for a new trial over antitrust claims brought by a coalition of US state attorneys general over competition in the live event and ticketing industries because of "prejudicial evidentiary errors" and errors in jury instructions. The state plaintiffs also failed to prove their alleged relevant markets, monopoly power, exclusionary conduct and anticompetitive effects, Live Nation said in a memo filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York supporting its motion for judgment as a matter of law.See attached documents....
