The commission said the projects, funded by money from the EU Emissions Trading System, would cut more than 6.6 million tonnes of emissions over 10 years by reducing gas use. Technologies include direct and indirect resistance heating, heat pumps and solar thermal across sectors such as iron and steel, glass, paper and food production.Press release follows.
