WIN TV's bid for NTD, NBN Enterprises gets Australian regulatory approval

In a determination issued on Monday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said the companies would likely continue to face competition from multiple alternative suppliers of broadcasting and advertising, including by Seven Network and Ten Network. NBN and NTD are ultimately controlled by a group of companies known as the Nine Group. Both NBN and NTD operate regional free-to-air television stations across northern New South Wales and the Gold Coast regions, while NTD broadcasts in the Northern Territory.
