AFG, based in Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture, and 33 FG, based in neighboring Mie Prefecture, said they aim to strengthen their competitiveness in central Japan by establishing a joint holding company in April 2027. The holding company would control Aichi Bank and San ju San Bank.
