EU cookie rules need a 'new start,' not tweaks, Bavaria’s privacy watchdog says

In an interview, Michael Will said a European Commission proposal in its "omnibus" plan to simplify the EU's digital rulebook merely repackages the current approach. A "new start" is needed, he said.How can EU cookie rules be reformed effectively?
