In a Monday statement, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said the acquisition is unlikely to give rise to any material lessening of competition. Both entities provide international freight forwarding services to Australian customers, but the competition watchdog said there were alternative suppliers of freight forwarding in Australia and a low risk of foreclosure from the acquisition.
