The Ministry of Science and ICT said Monday the meeting included Vice Minister Ryu Je-myung, officials from the AI Safety Institute, Korea Internet & Security Agency, and Anthropic executives including global affairs head Michael Sellitto. South Korea proposed cybersecurity cooperation between Anthropic and South Korean companies or institutions, requested information sharing to help prepare for vulnerability disclosures and agreed to continue working-level discussions on the cybersecurity use of AI models.
