Chegg, Penske Media seek oral argument on Google's motions to dismiss US antitrust claims

( May 4, 2026, 16:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Online educational publisher Chegg and Penske Media are seeking oral argument on Google's motion to dismiss their lawsuits after the court dismissed antitrust claims of a different set of publisher plaintiffs against Google. Like Penske and Chegg, Helena World Chronicle alleged claims related to Google’s AI Overviews, the plaintiffs said in a motion arguing that their claims and briefing differ from Helena’s "in outcome-determinative ways." Penske and Chegg said that oral argument will assist the court "in considering these meaningful distinctions before ruling on Google’s pending motions." See court document. ...
