( May 4, 2026, 14:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Direct purchaser plaintiffs have asked a US federal judge to grant preliminary approval to their settlement with Agri Stats to resolve price-fixing over pork products. "Agri Stats stopped publishing pork reports in 2019. Should Agri Stats ever resume its pork reports, Agri Stats has agreed to substantially reshape the form of their reports, including removing participant lists, stopping the sales reports altogether, and removing suspect fields altogether," the direct purchasers said in a memorandum support of preliminary approval filed in the District of Minnesota. Agri Stats will also pay half of the cost of notice to the DPP class, the memorandum said. See attached files....
