Vietnam, Japan agree to deepen digital, semiconductor cooperation

According to statements issued on Sunday, Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology and Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications signed a memorandum of understanding covering artificial intelligence development, next-generation 5G/6G networks, cloud computing and internet safety and security. A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Vietnamese ministry and the Japan Science and Technology Agency for five joint semiconductor research initiatives under NEXUS, Japan’s strategic science and technology cooperation program with ASEAN.The statements follow....
