US Commerce releases quarterly cheese subsidy update
( April 30, 2026, 15:41 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: The US Commerce Department updated its quarterly list of cheese subsidies reflecting the Oct. 1 through Dec. 31 period in 2025. The update assigned no subsidy rate to cheese from the European Union, Norway and Switzerland but gave a subsidy rate of $0.47 cents per pound to Canadian cheese. Commerce is requesting additional comments from the public by the end of June on cheese subsidy programs.See attached....
