Former US judges say designation of Anthropic as risk goes against law

( April 22, 2026, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A group of 149 former US judges and other groups told an appeals court that the government misinterpreted the law when it designated Anthropic a “supply chain risk,” and the deference courts afford to the executive branch in national security matters is limited to judgments about facts—not interpretations of the law.
