Nokia appeals UK ruling against arbitration for FRAND determinations

Nokia, which owns the rights to the SEPs, challenged the lower court’s decision that a proposal to have a fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory rate for the SEPs decided by arbitration did not constitute a valid offer.Nokia has appealed a UK High Court ruling which awarded an interim license for the use of standard essential patents for video encoding and decoding to Acer and Asus (see here)....
