EU lawmakers put Chinese diplomatic reset to the test with flurry of visits

Engin Eroglu, the chair of the parliament's China relations delegation, told MLex that the Industrial Accelerator Act alone won't solve Europe's problem of lagging competitiveness.After an eight-year ban, four delegations of EU lawmakers will visit China in 2026, including a trade-focused visit in October. It remains to be seen whether or not the trip by the European Parliament's International Trade Committee, or INTA, can influence China’s economic policy....
