ICT suppliers’ digital security to be monitored preventively in Netherlands

Due to the growing risks of cyber attacks and major data breaches, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens wants to keep a closer eye on ICT suppliers, which often process large amounts of personal data on behalf of their clients. Similar monitoring was also established in the Dutch healthcare sector recently.Statement follows (in Dutch)....
