But any reset risks falling short if the bloc continues to confront the same Chinese platforms through separate trade, tech and competition tracks.Meetings with e-commerce platforms such as Shein, Temu and Alibaba were high on the agenda as members of the European Parliament traveled to China for the first time in eight years, in a visit meant to rebuild ties with the country. But that outreach risks falling short if the EU keeps approaching the same companies through fragmented trade, tech, consumer-protection and competition frameworks, a lawmaker said....
