Trade associations tell US Supreme Court membership doesn't support antitrust claims

( April 10, 2026, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers urged the US Supreme Court to rule that participation in common trade associations does not constitute a “plus factor” supporting the existence of an antitrust conspiracy. The associations filed a brief in support of Sanofi-Adventis, Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk and AstraZeneca in an antitrust case brought against them, arguing that if the appeals court ruling against the companies is allowed to stand, it will significantly curtail organizations from participating in trade associations out of fear that they will be labeled as unlawful co-conspirators by association.See attached file. ...
