Berkshire Hathaway defends judgment motion on home sellers' US antitrust claims

BHE argues that the plaintiffs' opposition to judgment misses governing Supreme Court precedent, which unequivocally states that a parent company like BHE and its subsidiary HomeServices of America "are one and indivisible under the law." In settling their claims against HomeServices of America, the plaintiffs did so with BHE, and a carveout in a release the plaintiffs cite cannot make one single economic entity into two, BHE said in its brief filed in the Western District of Missouri.See attached file....
