Experience Australia's bid for Crocodile Hotel reviewed by antitrust regulator

( April 9, 2026, 07:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Experience Australia Group’s proposal to acquire Crocodile Hotel in the state of Northern Territory is being reviewed by the Australian competition regulator. In a statement on Wednesday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said Experience Australia, via its wholly owned subsidiary Journey Beyond Kakadu Hotel, proposes to acquire Crocodile Hotel from Kakadu Tourism as well as a 100 percent leasehold interest in the land on which the Crocodile Hotel is situated from Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation Jabiru Town. It added that Crocodile Hotel operates the business and business assets known as the Kakadu Crocodile Hotel in Australia’s Northern Territory. The regulator said both Experience Australia Group and the Crocodile Hotel operate in the touring-services supply chain.Statement follows....
