( April 8, 2026, 13:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Textiles, chemicals, metals, computer, transport and machinery equipment from China were flagged as sectors where a potentially harmful increase of imports has been detected, according to the data published by the European Commission's import surveillance task force. The data covers the period February 2025 to January 2026. The commission group was set up in April 2025 to monitor imports in order to detect harmful trade diversion into the EU. The statements are attached....
