US asks court to reject Meta’s renewed attempt to stop reopening of FTC proceedings (corrects*)

Meta’s motion was filed after an appeals court overturned a lower court ruling that had dismissed Meta’s challenge and remanded the case. “Meta negotiated the 2020 settlement against a statutory backdrop that allows the Commission to modify its own administrative order, with judicial review occurring thereafter in the court of appeals,” the US said in its opposition to Meta’s motion....
