Applied Systems says Comulate aims to use US antitrust law to entrench market power

( April 3, 2026, 18:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Applied Systems moved to dismiss Comulate’s amended US complaint, arguing that it is only an attempt to entrench its dominance in the market for enterprise-level insurance agency management systems and avoid accountability for its own misconduct. “Between early 2023 and mid-2025, Applied proposed no fewer than four distinct commercial arrangements, and Comulate rejected every single one. The parties never signed a formal agreement and never made any joint offerings. Comulate cannot now invoke the antitrust laws to force a deal on its own terms,” Applied said. See attached file. ...
