Chinese online platforms receive regulatory guidance on job listings

( April 2, 2026, 08:53 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Chinese online platforms including Zhaopin, BOSS Zhipin, 58.com, Maimai, Douyin, Kuaishou, Weibo and Baidu Tieba recently received administrative guidance on regulating release of recruitment-related content, according to state media outlet Xinhua. The guidance was jointly issued by regulators overseeing human resources and social security, cyberspace affairs, industry, public security and financial supervision. Platforms were urged to strengthen accountability for content management, including stricter verification of credentials, clearer disclosure of information and enhanced content review and risk controls, while improving compliance, algorithm-based risk monitoring and early warning systems and user protections to safeguard job seekers’ rights.Statement follows (in Chinese). ...
