EU countries told to prepare for prolonged energy disruptions

The commission is also looking at whether it will need similar emergency energy market measures it used in the aftermath of the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he said.EU member states should put in place energy demand-saving measures and pay particular attention to the transport sector due to market disruption caused by the conflict in the Middle East, the bloc's energy chief has told the bloc's energy ministers....
