TikTok, X put under Singapore online safety supervision over child abuse, terrorism content

The Infocomm Media Development Authority said on Tuesday that the platforms must “regularly account for progress in implementing rectification measures.” The move follows findings in IMDA’s 2025 Online Safety Assessment Report, which identified failures by both TikTok and X to proactively detect such content.Statement follows.
