TikTok, Snap among 5 platforms raising compliance concerns over Australian social-media ban

In a statement on Tuesday, the Australian eSafety Commissioner said that the regulator is continuing to gather evidence necessary to inform potential enforcement action. The regulator said that it found several poor practices by platforms giving rise to compliance concerns including enabling children aged under 16 to repeatedly attempt the same age assurance method to “ultimately obtain a 16+ outcome.”Statement follows....
