China expands approved auditors for personal data compliance as oversight tightens

The list includes the China Electronics Fifth Research Institute under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Education Management Information Center affiliated with the Ministry of Education, the China Academy of Cyberspace Studies, a think tank under the internet regulator, as well as the National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center and the Shanghai Computer Software Technology Development Center.
