Beijing regulator trains nearly 100 Chinese platforms on new compliance rules

The session aimed to explain and provide compliance guidance on the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Online Trading Platform Rules, effective Feb. 1, as well as the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Live-Streaming E-commerce and the Guidelines on Antitrust Compliance for Internet Platforms. It emphasized obligations for platform rulemaking, oversight of livestream operators within platforms and risks linked to horizontal and vertical monopoly agreements.Statement follows (in Chinese)....
