MA Financial Group-Gold Coast City Marina deal faces regulatory review in Australia

( March 26, 2026, 07:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: MA Marina Fund Holdco and MA Marina Fund TT’s proposal to acquire 100 percent of the property and business assets of the Gold Coast City Marina has triggered a regulatory review by Australia’s competition regulator. In a statement on Wednesday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said MA Marina Fund Holdco and MA Marina Fund TT are indirectly solely controlled by funds managed by MA Financial Group. The regulator said MA Marina Fund currently operates a portfolio of 16 marinas located along Australia’s eastern seaboard under the ‘d’Albora’ brand. The statement said that the Gold Coast City Marina is a full-service marina and marina industrial facility located in the state of Queensland.
