( March 21, 2026, 00:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: UGG manufacturer Deckers Outdoor moved to dismiss an antitrust lawsuit from e-commerce clothing company Quince. Quince accuses Deckers of using hundreds of sham trade dress lawsuits as an exclusionary weapon to block competitors and maintain its dominance in the US market for sheepskin- and shearling-lined casual footwear. In its motion to dismiss, Deckers argued that Quince’s complaint "must be dismissed because the conduct of which Quince complains — that Deckers sought to protect its intellectual property rights by petitioning courts for redress from infringers’ conduct — constitutes protected activity under the First Amendment and the Noerr-Pennington doctrine."See attached motion....
