Judges also issued rulings on procedural rules on confidentiality, evidence and security for costs.The UPC has seen a flurry of enforcement decisions in the past week. At the same time, appeal judges tightened the court’s jurisdictional reach, confirming that “long-arm” theories cannot extend UPC authority beyond its territory in a case brought by French start-up KeeeX against tech firms including OpenAI....
