Hg Capital's proposal to acquire OneStream gets Australian regulatory approval

( March 18, 2026, 04:05 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The proposal by private equity company Hg Pooled Management, trading as Hg Capital, to acquire 100 percent of OneStream and OneStream Software through a special purpose vehicle, Onward AcquireCo, has been cleared by Australia’s competition watchdog. In a determination issued on Tuesday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said the companies do not compete closely as they offer different ranges and quality of products to different groups of customers. The regulator said Hg Capital is a private equity company investing in Europe and the US, and that its portfolio companies provide enterprise performance management software in Australia. The regulator added that OneStream is a software provider offering a platform that integrates an enterprise's core financial functions with broader operational data and processes.Determination is attached....
