US OPM says plaintiffs should not get to amend claims in case over data collection

( March 16, 2026, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Office of Personnel Management opposed federal employees’ request for leave to file a new complaint over data collection by the Department of Government Efficiency, saying the proffered “new” evidence is not new at all. “[T]he underlying information is redundant of information easily available through a Google search starting in September 2025, months before the court entered judgment. And this ‘new’ evidence will not change plaintiffs’ lack of Article III standing,” the OPM argued. See attached file....
